Daniel Hug new Art Director of COLOGNE FINE ART

Daniel Hug, Art Director of ART COLOGNE, will also assume the position of Art Director of COLOGNE FINE ART, effective immediately. The previous art fair Director, Cornelia Zinken, is expecting her second child in July and will be making use of her extended parental leave.

Daniel Hug has been Art Director of ART COLOGNE since 2008 and has guided the art fair's return to becoming one of the leading international art fairs in the past ten years. He feels a strong connection with the art location Cologne and sees his commitment to COLOGNE FINE ART as an important step in positioning the art fair for the future.

Daniel Hug, who is being initiated into his new task area parallel with with his work for ART COLOGNE, will present his ideas for carrying out the 50th edition of COLOGNE FINE ART following the upcoming ART COLOGNE (11 to 14 April 2019).

The decision to entrust Daniel Hug with the artistic management of COLOGNE FINE ART was made by the executive board of Koelnmesse in consultation with the advisory board of COLOGNE FINE ART.
