As one of the leading art fairs we consider it our duty to also support the next generation of art dealers and galleries. Fair participations are an essential part of the art market and an important platform for the exhibitors to present their objects and establish new contacts.
Especially for dealerships and galleries who have only been established recently, however, the costs associated with these activities can be problematic. In order to enable them to participate nonetheless in this important environment, we have – in co-operation with the Bundesverband Deutscher Galerien und Kunsthändler – created the programme ‘Young Dealers’. This programme allows these dealers and galleries to exhibit at the fair at highly reduced costs.
Young Dealers is available for dealerships and galleries that have been in business for no more than ten years. Participation in the programme is strictly limited to three years – afterwards the normal conditions of the fair apply. Young Dealers has been created with respect of to the length of business activities not the age of the objects. The Conditions of Participation and Admission Procedure Guidelines apply.
Please note that for art objects the year of origin has to be before the 21st century. Individual exemptions form this rule require the approval of the advisory board.
